In 1972 at the age of 16, Ritchie McQueeney began working for the Yandle Truck Refrigeration in Charlotte, North Carolina. Two months later they were awarded the Thermo King dealership.
Nixon Invests in the Future
Annually, Nixon solicits applications and awards a scholarship to a child of a Team Member. The purpose of the scholarship is to help finance undergraduate or vocational education pursuits. Last year, Nixon renamed its scholarship in HONOR and memory of Marty Siebert, a Team Member who sadly passed away in 2019.

On April 3, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued a recommendation for people to wear cloth face masks in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain. However, finding masks has been a difficult task to accomplish.
